We will announce plans for the future as developed at our refocusing meeting in August.

We will also present the slate of officers, board members and advisory council members for vote. If you can't attend you can send in your votes and comments to Lee at lee.recca@gmail.com. We still have an opening for a Treasurer. Let me know if you would like to receive the role description.

Holiday Donations, Wrapping and Reservation Dash (5 Dec 2026)

Sat, 05 Dec 2026 22:00:00 GMT

Hello NASTaP members and friends-

The Fall and Winter Holiday Spirit is in the air! One main goal of NASTaP is to support the youth (and other populations) of the three Ute Reservations (in Colorado and Utah). We try to accomplish this in several different ways.

Last December we had a Gift Donation/Wrapping Event where we collected more than 100 gifts to be wrapped and delivered to the Ute Mountain Ute Reservation, and this year we are expanding that to include the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation in Ft. Duchesne, Utah. We are asking for your help to accomplish this!

Here are the details if you are interested:

*We ask that you donate new, unwrapped gift items either at:

1-Serranos Coffee Company, 625 West Highway 105, Monument, CO 80132, beginning at 3pm on Saturday, December 5th, 2026 (event ends at 6pm)

2-Homes of Lee Recca (Wheat Ridge), Jan Haley (central Colorado Springs) or Heidi Wigand-Nicely (North of Colo Spgs/Gleneagle Area).

If you choose to drop off at one of these homes, please email that individual before doing so: Lee Recca (lee.recca@gmail.com) Jan Haley(janhaley@comcast.net) or Heidi Wigand-Nicely (heidi.wigand.nicely@gmail.com)

*All donations will be wrapped and labeled at the Event mentioned above (Serranos, 3pm-6pm on Saturday, December 5th)

*If you would like to stay and help wrap at Serranos, please sign up here (Events page of our website, nastap.org) or email heidi.wigand.nicely@gmail.com with questions.

*Below are item ideas, and there may be more forthcoming in a follow-up reminder email in late November.
